Orioles Heading to League Championship Series
Friday, October 13th , 2023
The joy and relief on the faces of the Baltimore Orioles players was obvious as they celebrated their Division Series win over the Tampa Bay Rays.

"In a series like this, the smallest thing can make the difference in how it turns out," said Baltimore third baseman Jason Vosler, shortly after the 14-5 win that clinched the series 3-2. "We're happy we did what it takes to get it done."

The team is now off to the League Championship Series.

The Baltimore Orioles will play against the Chicago White Sox in the next round. Chicago won their series against the Texas Rangers 3 games to 2. The League Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 14th , 2023.

More Woes for Giants Kyle Finnegan
Friday, October 13th , 2023
It was learned today in San Francisco that reliever Kyle Finnegan would miss more time because his recovery from elbow inflammation was not going as well as expected. The Giants, however, were quick to relay that the setback did not seem to be serious and that Finnegan would only miss 2 weeks more.

Finnegan has taken the hill for 59 relief appearances this season, nailing down 2 saves while notching a 5-1 record with a 1.92 ERA. The San Francisco reliever has limited opposing batters to a .194 batting average.
