Cardinals Advance to League Championship Series Wednesday, October 11th , 2023 Fans at Oracle Park saw the Division Series come to a close today, as the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the San Francisco Giants by a score of 5-1, and advanced to the League Championship Series. St. Louis won the series 3-1 and will now continue their march toward the World Series. "It feels good to be moving on, I can't deny it," said third baseman Alec Bohm, who was named series MVP. "Not everyone thought we'd make it this far." The St. Louis Cardinals don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Washington Nationals - Arizona Diamondbacks series. Arizona leads the series 2 games to 1.
