Cleveland Gets 5-3 Win
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Cleveland Guardians and Detroit Tigers.

Cleveland picked up a win at Comerica Park, bumping off the Detroit Tigers, 5-3. Pitcher Paul Blackburn was a major reason the Guardians emerged victorious. Blackburn got the win, improving to 13-9. He allowed 6 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. Blackburn allowed 1 run. Ken Giles recorded the save for Cleveland, his 2nd of the season.

The Guardians got a big at-bat from right fielder Sean Bouchard. For the game, Bouchard was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 13th home run of the season gave Cleveland a 2-0 lead.
