The Rockies grabbed a win, 3-0, at Colorado Field, overcoming a fine effort from Minnesota pitcher Mike Soroka. Soroka went 5 innings and allowed 2 runs. Colorado pitcher Aroldis Chapman got the win, upping his record to 7-6. Mike Soroka got the loss. The save was credited to Raisel Iglesias, his 40th.

One of the key players for the Rockies was catcher James McCann, who drilled a double in the bottom of the third inning. For the game, McCann was 1 for 3 with a double.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said McCann.
