Kansas City Royals starter Drew Rucinski was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Cleveland Guardians, 5-4. Rucinski, now 11-3, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 2, walking 1, and allowing 3 runs. Jason Adam notched his 4th save in 5 chances.
