Semien Rips 2 Home Runs in 5-4 Blue Jays Triumph
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Toronto Blue Jays and Texas Rangers.

In a close game at Rogers Centre, the Toronto Blue Jays edged the Texas Rangers, 5-4. Toronto second baseman Marcus Semien stood apart with his performance. He was 3-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Picking up the save was Liam Hendriks. He's now 34 for 38 in save chances.

Semien had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Chris Stratton, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Blue Jays a 5-3 lead. It was the 21st home run of the year for Semien.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Texas manager Mark Karpinski.

With the victory, the Blue Jays record now stands at 67-79.
