Fabian Socks It to Bees, Cracks 5 Hits Wednesday, May 8th , 2024 All game long, Sacramento's Jud Fabian was rattling the walls at Smith's Ballpark and banging out base hits against the Salt Lake Bees. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the River Cats had a win, 25-8. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 23-year-old center fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Jud Fabian hit a three-run home run off Richard Fitts in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th, walked in a run in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Fabian is batting .288 this year with 5 home runs, 28 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He has 36 hits in 125 at-bats. |
