Miranda Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Thursday, May 2nd , 2024 The Indianapolis Indians fell to the Buffalo Bisons in Victory Field, even as 25-year-old third baseman José Miranda upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Miranda finished with 2 hits in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Indians from dropping the 15-8 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Miranda. José Miranda hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
