Hit Parade: Bride Pops 5 Hits Sunday, June 4th , 2023 Durham third baseman Jonah Bride had a day to remember today, 5-for-5 against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp at Durham Bulls Athletic Park as the Bulls picked up a 13-6 victory. "He was patient up there today," Durham skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Bride has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Jonah Bride singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Aaron Civale in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th. This season Bride is batting .344 with 10 home runs. His totals include 40 RBIs and 39 runs scored. |
