IL Star of the Week Named Monday, May 1st , 2023 Jonathan Aranda demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the International League Player of the Week Award. The Jacksonville first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .458 average (11-for-24) with 3 home runs and 9 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. Currently Aranda is batting .368 with 39 hits and 11 home runs. He has knocked in 33 runs and scored 24 times. |
