Indians Advance to Round 2 Sunday, October 1st , 2023 The Indianapolis Indians have eliminated the Syracuse Mets and are off to the Round 2. Indianapolis won the final game by a 10-8 score and thus clinched the series 4-1. "We think this is our year, but we're taking it one game at a time," said Brenton Doyle, who was named series MVP. For the series, Doyle hit .385 with a .407 on-base percentage. He drove in 7 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Indianapolis Indians will play against the Charlotte Knights in the next round. Charlotte won their series against the Durham Bulls 4 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
