Knights Heading to Round 2 Sunday, October 1st , 2023 Fans of the Durham Bulls groaned when Mario Feliciano stepped up to the plate in the Round 1. And for good reason too, as the Charlotte Knights player was instrumental in guiding his team to a 4-1 series win over the Bulls. The series was clinched tonight at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, with Charlotte coming out on top 12-2 in the deciding game. Feliciano's strong series included a .381 batting average, with a .409 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Charlotte Knights don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Syracuse Mets - Indianapolis Indians series. Indianapolis leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
