Huff Grabs IL Best Batter Award for September Sunday, October 1st , 2023 Sam Huff may be much younger than other hitters in the International League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in September to win the Batter of the Month award. The 25-year-old Indianapolis catcher hit .403 with 14 home runs, 25 RBIs and 18 runs scored. Huff is hitting .336 this year with 30 home runs and 81 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .434, 41 walks and scored 58 times. |
