Taylor drives in 4 runs in Atlanta Win
Thanks in large part to second baseman Samad Taylor, the Atlanta Braves beat the Washington Nationals, 9-2. Taylor was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Washington's current losing streak is now 4 games.

J.D. Martinez had a big 2-run home run for the Braves in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Atlanta trailing 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a changeup from 29-year old left-handed pitcher Matt Krook and punished it. The result was his 11th home run of the season, which put the Braves on top, 3-2.

"Things kind of got away from us," said Washington skipper David Taylor.
