Fairchild Hits Two Homers in 9-5 Win for Milwaukee
A 5-RBI performance from left fielder Stuart Fairchild led the Milwaukee Brewers to a win over the St. Louis Cardinals, 9-5. Aaron Ashby notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 2.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-1. The Brewers go to 15-23 with the win.

With Milwaukee leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Fairchild hit a fastball from Kenta Maeda for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Brewers ahead, 5-0.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Fairchild.
