Slumping Brewers Lose 6th Straight
|
The Royals faced a stiff challenge from Milwaukee pitcher Ranger Suarez, but persevered to claim a win at Kauffman Stadium. The final score was 2-1. Suarez went 5.1 innings and allowed no runs. Kansas City pitcher Lucas Erceg got the win. He's now 1-0. Camilo Doval was tagged with the loss. The Brewers have now dropped 6 straight.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was the walk-off hero for Kansas City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Royals first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"I feel like we're rolling now," Guerrero Jr. told the Kansas City Today."The dugout is coming alive."
